this collage was a set I was using to develop ideas. Like the Totems I often combine objects, colours and shapes to set a scene. This scene was put together to look at size and ratios. The flower is bigger than the child, the child carries the blue whale in their palm. Something so small looked at in detail might show you its complexity and depth. Conversely reducing something that is so large gives you the opportunity to see it from other angles.
